A salad on your balcony, no soil needed

Fourteen years ago I started growing in aeroponic towers. Water, a tiny pump, and a sunny corner is all it takes.

People think you need a yard. You don’t. Fourteen years ago, the summer my youngest grandkid was born, I started growing in aeroponic Tower Gardens, and I never looked back.

No soil. The roots hang in the air and a little aquarium-sized pump showers them with water every few minutes. On a sunny balcony you can grow lettuce, herbs, even tomatoes, in a footprint the size of a garbage can.

That’s the whole promise of Get Up and Grow: you don’t need 300 acres. A bright corner and a bit of water will feed you.

Grow something today. 🌱
